How Aipetly collects, uses and shares your information, including the pet photos you upload and the videos you generate.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what information Aipetly ("we", "us") collects when you use aipetly.com and its pet video generation service (the "service"), how we use it and who we share it with. Contact: support@aipetly.com.

Information We Collect

  1. Account information: your name, email address and profile details you provide, or that your sign-in provider (for example, Google) shares with us.
  2. Photos you upload: the pet photos you submit to generate a video.
  3. Text you enter: lines for talking-pet videos and descriptions for custom scenes.
  4. Generated content: edited images (for outfit and pet-to-human templates) and the videos created from your photos.
  5. Payment information: records of your purchases and subscriptions, such as amount, date and status. Payments are processed by Waffo Pancake, our Merchant of Record; we never receive your full card details.
  6. Usage and device data: pages visited, features used, browser and device type.
  7. Cookies: to keep you signed in and, when analytics is enabled, to measure site usage.

How We Use Your Information

  • To generate videos from your photos and text and deliver them to you.
  • To run your account, credit balance and subscription.
  • To process payments and send receipts.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse and violations of our Terms of Service.
  • To answer support requests and content reports, and to improve the service.

We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.

How Your Photos Are Processed

To make a video we send your photo and the template's instructions (including any text you entered) to an AI video provider that runs Seedance 2.0, a video model developed by ByteDance. Depending on availability, the request goes to one of: Volcengine Ark (ByteDance's cloud, API endpoint in Beijing, China), Kie.ai or APIMart (API resellers that run the same model). For outfit and pet-to-human templates we first send the photo to APIMart to create an edited image with Google's Nano Banana image model. Your data may therefore be processed outside your country. Each provider processes the data on our behalf to produce your video and runs its own safety checks; their handling is also governed by their own terms.

Uploaded photos, edited images and generated videos are stored in our cloud storage so you can view and download them.

Sharing and Visibility

Videos are private to your account. A video becomes viewable by others only if you turn on its share link; you can turn it off again at any time. Shared pages are excluded from search engines.

Who We Share Information With

  • Hosting, database and storage: Cloudflare (Workers, D1 and R2).
  • AI processing: Volcengine Ark, Kie.ai and APIMart as described above.
  • Payments: Waffo Pancake (Merchant of Record).
  • Sign-in: Google, if you sign in with Google.
  • Email: our email provider, to send sign-in and account emails.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, when enabled.
  • Legal: when required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.

Data Retention

We keep your account information while your account is active. Photos, edited images and videos stay in storage until you delete them, ask us to delete them, or your account is deleted. You can delete a finished video yourself in My videos: this removes the video, its edited image, its share link and the uploaded photo (a photo still used by another of your videos is kept until that one is deleted too). We process deletion requests within 30 days. Purchase records are kept as long as accounting and tax law requires.

Data Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The service is for users 18 and older.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU and UK GDPR and the CCPA) you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict processing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Email support@aipetly.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date above shows the latest version; material changes will be announced on the site.
